EPISODE 059. KNOWING WHEN IT'S TIME TO LET A CLIENT GO

Today’s episode is a bit of a doozy. 🥴 

We’re talking about firing clients.

During our six years in business, it’s rarely happened, but it has, in fact, happened. And it’s scary. And difficult! And so damn uncomfy. But at the same time, it’s necessary when the work relationship is affecting you, your business or your staff in a negative way.

Similarly to relationships or even friendships, not everyone is compatible. And some people are just .. no good! And it's okay, but only if you know when it's time to cut ties.

Today, we are sharing our own stories about when we’ve had to let clients go! Some situations got pretty extreme (& even a bit hostile), but we did what was necessary, got through it, & our business is better now!

Just remember that YOU own your business. You get to choose your client avatar & who you serve. If someone is not aligning with your core values, or if you physically cannot meet their expectations, don't feel bad giving them the opportunity to find a company that is better suited for them.
